Privacy Policy

Here is what happens for each tool:

• Text Compare — both text inputs are diffed entirely in memory using a JavaScript diff algorithm. Nothing is sent over the network.
• Word Counter — regex matching and counting runs in the browser. Results are displayed locally.
• Remove Duplicate Lines — your input is split, deduplicated, and returned within the same browser session.
• Case Converter — JavaScript string methods transform your text locally.
• JSON Formatter & Validator — JSON.parse() runs in the browser engine. No JSON data leaves your device.
• QR Generator — a JavaScript QR library encodes your input locally and renders a canvas element. The image is never uploaded.
• Base64 Encode / Decode — btoa() and atob() are native browser functions. No network call is made for your input.
• Barcode Generator — barcode rendering libraries run locally and produce a downloadable SVG or PNG on your device.

You can verify this yourself by opening your browser's Network tab in DevTools while using any tool — you will see no outbound requests carrying your tool input data.

We do not sell your personal information. Advertising partners may process data as independent controllers under their own policies. We will never sell the text you enter into our tools — that data never leaves your browser.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access— you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you. Tool input is never held by us. For ad-related data held by Google, use Google's tools and policies.
• Right to erasure — you can request deletion of data associated with you that we control (for example, email correspondence). Anonymised analytics may not be individually deletable.
• Right to object / opt out of personalized ads — use Google Ads Settings and the industry opt-out pages listed in §4.
• Right to portability— you can export preference data stored in your browser's localStorage via your browser's developer tools.
• CCPA rights (California) — we do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. California residents may submit a request to prem60866@gmail.com. You may also opt out of personalized advertising via the links above.

To exercise rights that relate to data we control, email prem60866@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

For site infrastructure and partner services we:

• Serve traffic over HTTPS/TLS with modern security headers where supported by our host/CDN.
• Rely on CDN and hosting providers for DDoS mitigation and edge security.
• Promptly patch known vulnerabilities in our JavaScript dependencies.

TextTools is a general-purpose developer and writing utility. It is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Since we do not create user accounts, there is no mechanism by which a child could create a profile with us. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information (for example by emailing us), contact prem60866@gmail.com and we will investigate promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
• If the changes are material (e.g. we start collecting new categories of data), we will display a notice on the TextTools homepage for a reasonable period after the change.
